Guitar Hero game controllers

A simple but amazing concept, given that the entire game is based completely on controllers other than the ones that come with the system, regardless of the system you use.

Guitar Hero game controllers include guitars, microphones, and drums. And depending on the system use, the controllers are different. For example, the guitar is used for home-based full consoles, but if you like your gameplay to be portable like for the Nintendo DS, then you'll need a small strap-on unit that has the required buttons. Given that the guitars only provide a handful of different colored "buttons", then the controls can be ported to any style or need, to be able to operate the game.

There are Guitar Hero game controllers for the Nintendo Wii, DS and DS Lite, Playstation PSP, PS2 and PS3, and XBox.

The drums have only a handful of "buttons" too, but if the buttons are turned into large pads you can strike, not your fingers but a drum stick, then we have a set of drums.

One of the coolest features about the rockband system is the microphone which measures the pitch in the voice and maps it against what the desired or actual data is, and it can tell if the change is enough to warrant success.
